Meditation of communion with your divine, inner child

This is an excerpt from the radio show about transfiguration, part 1, from April 16th. For those of you who were unable to listen to it, I give you some ideas for changing the way we love and perceive ourselves:
The first step in self-transfiguration is understanding how much we love ourselves.
Inside your being there is a child who needs patience, tolerance, encouragement, love and tenderness. Do you give him- your inner child - all these? If you tell him stories about the successes that other people accomplished and he will never be able to accomplish, you will make him loose his self-confidence. If you promise him countless pleasures which clearly can’t be fulfilled, you make him greedy and discontent. If you tell him that others are to be blamed for his failures, you will make him full of hatred and bitterness.
All these vicious habits hurt less the ones close to you than it hurt yourself. If you use to do this sometimes in the relationship with yourself that means you don’t love yourself enough. Your inner child needs your love.  All the rest: love and appreciation form others, all kinds of satisfactions and ideas from the outside will put him at ease only for a short time. After a while, he will realize that he didn't receive what he needed and he will start crying again. Give your inner child tenderness, love, appreciation, care and protection. This is one method to start loving and appreciating yourself.
Let your innocence, purity, playfulness, sincerity, curiosity and spontaneity  manifest in your life. You are a divine child of God!

I honor the divine inner child within you!

With love,
Delia
